Check & read your e-invoice

About this validator

What does it check?

Well-formedness, UBL Invoice structure, the EN 16931 mandatory fields (invoice number, dates, currency, seller/buyer identification, lines), profile-specific essentials (Peppol buyer reference and endpoint IDs; XRechnung Leitweg-ID, seller contact, payment means), VAT exemption reasons for reverse charge / intra-EU / export categories, and the totals arithmetic rules (BR-CO-10/13/14/15/16/17, decimal precision).

Why did my invoice pass here but fail elsewhere?

Full EN 16931 + national rule sets contain hundreds of Schematron rules including code-list and cross-field checks this in-browser checker doesn't replicate. Treat a pass as a strong signal. For certification-grade validation, use the official KoSIT validator or the upcoming Fakturate API.

I received an XML invoice — how do I open and read it?

Paste or upload it above. Fakturate renders the UBL data as a normal invoice — parties, line items, VAT breakdown, amount due — that you can read and print or save as PDF for your records. Since 2025–2026, businesses in Germany and Belgium must be able to receive these structured invoices, and France follows from September 2026; this viewer is the quickest way to handle them without new software.

Is my invoice uploaded?

No. The validator is plain JavaScript running in your browser tab — your invoice and everything in it stays on your device and is never sent to us or anyone else. We only use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to count page views; see the privacy policy.
